How Dick & Sue Home Finders came about

In a thatch wendy house in President Street, Silverton with only a driver, a little truck and a whole lot of boards, Dick & Sue opened their doors in 1988.

Committed to delivering the best service to their community meant that they not only became popular with the residents but also with kids’ hockey and rugby teams - which showed them astounding support from the start.

Not long after opening their doors, more agents with the same level of dedication joined the team and some of these agents are still a part of the team today! The goal has always been to serve clients honorably and sincerely, always going the extra mile to ensure all their property needs are met.

Enquiries from all over the major city centres in Gauteng and the North West, as well as smaller areas including tremendous support from areas around townships and Eersterust, are a true testament to their dedication to excellent service.

This tradition of excellent service delivery has been carried forward by Principal, Joleen Stapelberg, who obtained her Baccalaureus Commercial in Marketing Management at the University of Pretoria in 2001. That same year she started as an agent and as she gained more experience, she also took on more responsibility until Dick & Sue Home Finders eventually fell completely under her management.

Today Dick & Sue Home Finders is not only a real estate agency but also a company that provides property investors with the best possible service but ensures that their team of real estate agents is equipped to ensure fantastic service. Due to immense growth a property in Pretoria Road was bought where a team of loyal staff and rental managers help to coordinate the daily distribution of boards, pamphlets and on show boards - thus ensuring that Dick & Sue Home Finders are the first names in real estate.

They state their success lies with prayer, vibrant marketing & their principal’s ambition to see the company grow.
